The Final Days

I’m home now, and I honestly can’t believe it. The time just flew by, and to be honest I’m a little upset. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to be home, but I miss all the people I met and all the things that I saw.                         The last few days were so much fun and it was hard to say goodbye! But I know it’s just goodbye for now, trust me when I say I’ll be back.     Advertisements Continue reading The Final Days

London Life

Back in London! And very, very happy to be here!     Yesterday was a long travel day (as you can tell by my tired, but happy face). I made my way down from Scotland in the afternoon. That was the easiest part. Getting on the tube with my luggage and carry on, on probably the busiest line, going to central London, in the middle of rush hour… Not something I would like to do often.  And then when I finally made it to my hotel I discovered there was no lift ( I’m very up with the British lingo right … Continue reading London Life

This City Has My Heart

I’ve been to Scotland a few times before; I’ve been up and down it, stayed in cities and tiny country villages. I’ve seen its lakes, it’s castles, and it’s highlands.  I’ve seen it all, and I’ve loved it all. But there is one place I’ve loved more than all the others, from the second I set eyes on it for the first time, over five years ago now.  Edinburgh. I’m obsessed with this city; I’m in love with it. I want to spend all my time here. It’s just one of those places that you feel instantly at home in. … Continue reading This City Has My Heart

Snapshots of Paris

So, I’ve been writing the past few blog posts after the events depicted in them already took place.  I tried to write daily on the events that took place, but things got crazy, and so much was constantly happening, that I just couldn’t keep up. But better late than never, right?  So just close your eyes and imagine that I am still back there in Paris, and not sitting in a hotel room in Scotland.  These are just the last few places I visited and things I did while I was there.   Paris Opera House Versailles      Love Locks Bridge … Continue reading Snapshots of Paris

What a day!  Arc de Triumph, the Louvre, shopping on the most famous street in the world, more time at the Eiffel Tower, and dinner and a show at the Moulin Rouge.  Im exhausted. But it was amazing.            I won’t lie to you; the Mona Lisa was a tad of a let down; but still. Worth it for the experience.  The highlight of the day was no doubt the Moulin Rouge. I have never seen anything like that! I’ve never been so entertained or impressed, or blown away in my entire life. I would go back in … Continue reading Triumph

City of Lights

Today was a travel day; a very, very long travel day. There was a minute there where I thought I would never get off that bus.  But I did, and here I am! In Paris of all places! I never thought I would see the day.  Since today was mostly a travel day, we didn’t get to do or see much. But it lol tell you this; I love it here already. It just feels magical, and full of promise. Yes, I realize how stupid that sounds. But I can’t help it!          We went up the Eiffel Tower, … Continue reading City of Lights
