How I Keep My Blonde Hair Brass Free

Hey friends!

In about two weeks it will be a year since I started the transtion from dark brown (like suuuuper dark) to blonde hair! It’s been a hell of a ride, but my hair is finally almost at the stage I want it to be.

About a month or so ago I was cruising through the drugstore (basically one of my all time favourite hobbies) and I came across this gem.

L’OREAL Ever Pure Blonde Shade Reviving Treatment

I picked this bad boy up because the usual John Freida treatment I use was out of stock. THANK GOD I found this! With one use my hair was instantly a little lighter and brighter. In between trips to my stylist this treatment really helps keep the brass at bay. Since my hair is naturally so dark, my locks tend to want to gravitate towards the brassy side of things, so this is a life saver.

That being said, if you’re new to the blonde world, you are going to want to invest in a decent purple shampoo as well, but this treatment is a good starting point.

Do any of you blonde bombshells out there have any tips and tricks for me? Or have any suggestions for other products I should be using?

Peace x
